Greetings. It’s been a while, I know. I’ve been offline for about five years now, but I’m resurrecting The [K]Nightly Build, albeit with a broader focus on technology outside of programming languages and compilers. Though the tech landscape has shifted majorly in the past few years, so have I, in an attempt to branch out beyond writing code, I’ve made a significant investment into learning enterprise networking. I’ve also expanded my architecture expertise to include Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) whose main mantra is to never trust, always verify.

Overall I’m pretty excited to be writing again, even if it is just for an audience of a couple dozen folks ;-). I’m also rebuilding my blog and migrating to WordPress. This blog started off as a pet project way back in 2002-2003 with a home-rolled solution that upon looking back at the source code, I wonder how it ever ran at all. And now, I’m writing some migration code to get all of my old posts up, all 400+ of them.

I’m pretty stoked to see what comes next. If you’re still here, I’m glad you are. If you’re new here, I’m equally as glad, and I hope you enjoy your stay. -jK
